How to measure
Three measurements. One perfect fit.
You only need a soft measuring tape and about 15 seconds. Measure your dog standing up on a flat surface. Keep the tape snug but not tight — you should be able to slide one finger underneath.
1. Chest girth
Wrap the tape around the widest part of the rib cage, right behind the front legs. This is the most important measurement — the rash guard should sit close without pulling or restricting breath.
2. Back length
Measure from the base of the neck (where the collar sits) to the base of the tail. The garment should end before the hind legs for freedom of movement.
3. Neck opening
Measure around the base of the neck. The opening should be loose enough for easy on/off but not so wide that it slips or gaps when wet.
Between sizes?
Choose by chest girth first. Broad-chested breeds (Bulldog, Frenchie, Corgi): size up. Deep but narrow chest (Greyhound, Whippet): stick with chest measurement. When in doubt, message support.
